Our products can be used in a variety of ways in many different cocktails and meals, but below we have some particular recipes we have enjoyed and recommend. If you create a unique concoction of your own you wish to share, feel free to contact us with your creations!
Plumalingus
A Dirty Martini with Plums to Pleasure the Tongue

In a Cocktail shaker with ice mix, 2 oz Gin
-
1/2 oz Umeshu (Japanese Sweet Plum Wine)
-
1 tsp Forest Farmstead Umeboshi Vinegar
-
Shake and poor over 2 Umeboshi Plums in a Chilled Martini Glass

Add 2 Dashes Woodcutter’s Douglas Fir Bitters and Watch the Magic Skagit Mists Play

Sip Slowly and Enjoy

Sparkling Cedar Covid Kicker
A Fresh Spring Tonic with the Immune Support of Cedar *

A glass with Ice
-
Woodcutter’s Red Cedar Bitters Dashed in with style, to taste (Doug Fir and Spruce work too)

Squeeze of lemon (optional)

Sparkling water
This ‘soda and bitters’ is zero calories and can be as refreshing as a beer at end of the day.
*I am a Woodsman; Herbalists will know more about Cedar and Covid though it is reputed to have immune system boosting properties similar to Echinacea.

Blackberry Dust
My Kid’s Favorite Soda

Pint Glass with Ice
-
½ to 1 oz Woodcutter’s Blackberry Syrup
-
Squeeze of Lime
-
Fill with sparkling water
-
Add 1 dash Woodcutter’s Spruce or Doug Fir Bitters
-
Serve while smiling

Onigiri
Japanese Rice Ball
-
If you don’t have an Onigiri press they can be handmade
-
Umeboshi Vinegar to Lightly season sushi rice or sticky brown
-
Place a strip of nori across the bottom of the press
-
Fill press ½ full with rice
-
De-pit one or more Umeboshi Plums and place on rice
-
Fill the other half with rice, fold nori over, and press hard
-
Remove and dip in toasted sesame seeds
-
Pack it in your lunchbox, Yum.
